This policy applies to all room stays, campsite stays, retreat packages, and any accommodation-related bookings made through https://heritage1939.com.my.
1. Cancellation Period
Guests may cancel their booking within 24 hours from the time of booking confirmation for a full refund, provided the check-in date is more than 3 days away.
2. Cancellation Fees
- Cancellations made after 24 hours from booking confirmation will incur a 20% cancellation fee based on the total booking amount.
- Cancellations made within 72 hours before check-in are not eligible for any refund.
3. Refund Eligibility
- Refunds are only applicable for eligible cancellations as stated above.
- All approved refunds will be processed within 5 to 7 working days.
- Refunds will be made back to the original payment method used.
4. Non-Refundable Bookings
The following are strictly non-refundable and non-deferrable:
- Last-minute bookings made within 72 hours before check-in
- Promotional, discounted, or special campaign bookings
- Event-based stays, private group bookings, or exclusive buy-outs
- All ticket-based activities or bundled activity packages
5. No-Show Policy
Guests who fail to check in on the scheduled date without prior cancellation will be considered a no-show and will not be entitled to any refund.
6. Change of Reservation Date
- Changes to stay dates are subject to availability.
- Requests for changes must be made at least 48 hours before the original check-in date.
- Price differences may apply if the new dates fall under a different rate period.
- Changes requested less than 48 hours before check-in may be rejected.
7. Force Majeure
Tanah Embah Heritage 1939 reserves the right to cancel or reschedule bookings caused by circumstances beyond control including but not limited to extreme weather, floods, safety risks, natural disasters, or government restrictions. In such cases, refund or rescheduling decisions will be made at management’s discretion.
8. Process for Cancellation & Refund
All cancellation and refund requests must be submitted through:

9. Management Rights
Tanah Embah Heritage 1939 reserves the right to:
- Reject suspicious, abusive, or fraudulent refund requests
- Amend this policy at any time without prior notice
- Make final decisions on all refund disputes
