Heritage Room: Siti Hasdiah

Heritage Room 4, named Siti Hasdiah, was once the private room of the second daughter of Hj Kamso. This room carries a sense of calm domestic life, reflecting quiet moments of rest, reflection, and connection with nature that defined traditional kampung living.

Designed to comfortably accommodate couples or two guests, the room is furnished with carefully preserved ancestral pieces. A queen-size heritage bed anchors the space, complemented by a restored long cupboard, an antique red pendant light, and a signature long rattan chair placed thoughtfully within the room. The rattan chair invites guests to slow down, sit back, and enjoy moments of stillness throughout the day.

The room opens to soothing greenery views overlooking the Mengkudu tree, glass house, walking slabs, and the swimming pool. Surrounded by palm trees and garden pathways, the setting offers an authentic kampung atmosphere that is best experienced with the windows open, allowing fresh air, soft daylight, and natural sounds to flow freely inside.

A calming green colour palette runs through the room, naturally cooling the space while creating a grounded and peaceful mood. Original doors and windows have been preserved, maintaining the room’s historic integrity while enhancing ventilation and connection to the outdoors.
